By consistently maintaining a square putter face, you can boost confidence, assuring the ball will roll along the expected path. Once you can consistently putt the ball in the correct direction, controlling speed becomes the only other variable needed for successful putting.
This simple and compact Carbon Fiber Square Putter Face Board requires no particularly complex techniques: simply place the ball in the lug hole, align the putter face with the edge, and you can easily achieve square-face alignment for aiming and impact. With consistent practice and use, the aiming and impact habits will become muscle memory, requiring no additional deliberate training.
The Carbon Fiber Square Putter Face Board is available in two sizes: long and short. The long version is 4cm longer than the short version.
The longer end caps of the longer board provide more space for the mortise tees. Besides securing the putter plate, these mortise tees also act as "gates," helping to limit the opening and closing of the clubface at impact: the closer the mortise is to the center, the more easily the clubhead will open or close at impact, making it easier to strike the mortise.
When using the longer board, you can intentionally place the mortise tees further apart at the ends and gradually move them closer to the center, reducing the distance between the gates to increase the difficulty.
The Square Putter Face Board is made of carbon fiber, which is lightweight, thin, flexible, tough, and has high tensile strength, allowing it to withstand greater loads. It is also moisture-resistant, heat-resistant, and does not easily deform, resulting in a long lifespan. Therefore, it is much more expensive than putter plates made of conventional materials.
